What you need to know about buying & wearing LiftKits
Make sure to follow the “How to wear” category on the LiftKits blog to stay up to date with the latest informtion on how to best wear your LK’s.
Before buying LiftKits know that:
1. They come in Pairs
2. They are 1 size fits all (they fit in 9 1/2 up but can bee trimmed to fit smaller size – see blog article below)
3. They are meant for Men (Womens are coming in October)
4. Lo-Top models are made for either low ankle supported shoes (tennis shoes or other laced shoes) or high ankle supported shoes (Boots, High-Tops etc…)
5. Hi-Top models are made only for high ankle supported shoes like boots and high tops
6. if you are buying for loafers, slip-ons or well fitted dress shoes you may want to wait to purchase our ‘Universal’ product coming this October. Also see info below on wearing Liftkits.
7. If you have any questions or concerns before buying dont hesitate to contact us for advice – info@myliftkits.com We like helping out and sometimes it takes a bit of coaching to get it right. See our faq’s for additional information.
When wearing LiftKits know that:
1. It helps to experiment (try different shoes -LK’s dont always work in the 1st pair of shoes you throw them in)
2. Let the insole settle & mold to both your shoe and foot. You will notice it fitting better after a few times of use.
3. loosen your laces (this creates less pressure and more room for the top of your foot)
4. buy a half to full size bigger shoe to create more room in your shoe for both the lift and your foot.
5. start with the lesser lift and move up as you feel more comfortable wearing them.
